How we think about AI at Piper.
Live events are made by people — the creative vision, the client relationships, the judgment calls on a show floor. No technology replaces that, and we're not trying to.
The industry's problem was never too many people. It's too few, doing too much — reconciling hundreds of line items at midnight, chasing quotes across a dozen email threads, catching a $40K overage buried on page seven of a PDF.
That's the work we point AI at: the tedium that buries people, never the creative seat. We build it into the workflow, not on top of it — it catches the duplicate charge, flags the number that breaks the pattern, and surfaces what matters before you go looking. Then it gets out of the way.
We don't build AI to say we have it. We build it so the person working at 1am has a second set of eyes that never gets tired.
